I believe babies are beautiful just the way they are, family is everything and classic photography will never go out of style.My approach is delicate and pure. No unnatural
posing and very minimal props. Just your baby and family photographed as they are now in a way that you'll treasure forever.
Pregnancy is a magical moment and an absolutely one to
celebrate and treasure forever. After nine months of eagerly waiting to meet
your little one, the stork has finally arrived. From the second your newborn is
placed in your arms, every day is filled with firsts: the first gurgle, the
first smile, the first time you feel tiny fingers clasped around yours. Each
moment and milestone is to be cherished, as every parent knows that in the
blink of an eye your cuddly little newborn will be an adventurous, chatty
toddler.
Allow me to help you capture the natural, delicate, pure and
sweet moments of these precious times, with artful portraits that you’ll treasure
for a lifetime.
You won’t be able to cradle your infant in the palms of your
hands forever or bottle that new-baby smell, but you’ll always be able to look
back on beautiful photographs that tell the story of new life, new parents, and
the start of a new, exciting journey as a family.
Your booking
The best time to book your maternity sessions is as soon as possible after you’ve had your 20-week scan, the ideal window of time for a maternity shoot is between 32 and 36 weeks. Newborn portrait session needs to be booked when you are five or six months pregnant.
This leaves us plenty time to get to know one another and discuss questions you may have, so you’ll be completely comfortable during this unique photography session, and I’ll have a full understanding of your vision for the final artwork.
Of course, if your baby isn’t born on your due date (which is often the case), this is no problem at all. Once the baby is born, just get in touch as soon as you can, and we’ll confirm a session to take place within the baby’s first 14 days.
Your session
Partners and siblings are welcome to join in your newborn portrait session. Your session will be held at my comfortable home studio in Woodford, London. Please note that due to the nature of the space no more than 4 people are able to attend the session.
Your artwork
At the end of the session, I will showcase you a variety of artwork options to choose from (as I respect your precious
time and you don’t have to come back again!).Within one week of your session you’ll receive approximately 30 beautiful digital colour photographs
edited to choose from in order to create your chosen artwork.
From albums to birth announcement cards and wall art, there are a selection of hand-picked fine art options to choose from. Please note that artworks are optional (there is no minimum spending) as digital files with print release are included in the session, however should you decide to print elsewhere I can’t guarantee the high quality results you will get through my fine art finest collections.
