If you are not fun of a cake smash session, worry not, not everyone is! Alternatively, I am happy to approach your baby first birthday photography , with a pure, clean and minimalistic style.

When to book my baby first birthday photography session?

My advice is to book your session when your baby is 6 months old. However, should your child be over 6 months, try to get in touch in any case to check for availability. Also check ‘How to capture your baby’s first year’

Are planning to use the images as birthday invite or thank you cards?

Then the baby first birthday photography session must take place when your child is 11 month old. This will give me enough time to deliver the images to you and for you to print and send them to your guests.

Do I need spare clothes?

The good news is, you don’t spare cloths as there is not mess happening! Just turn up and enjoy your session. (although a spare change for the little one is always handy to have, you never know what they are up to;0))

Do I need to bring props?

I will take care of the backdrop and props (I know I may sound like a broken record), but my aim is to capture the natural and simplicity of these sweet moments of your baby’s first birthday and to celebrate the love between you as a family! If you have a sentimental item that would like to bring, I will do my best to incorporate this into the session.

Can I decide on the props’ colour?

Of course you can! You may know at this stage that I use delicate pastel colour and hearty colour palette. I will guide you to decide which colour works best for you and best match with your interior should you plan to display some images from the session in a specific wall of your house.

What to expect

Baby Milestone Photography Epping sessions are always fun, at this stage your baby is able to express curiosity, to make funny faces and they are also very unpredictable, which it is why every shoot is unique and your child personality will shine through these images.

 I also know that they get tired very quickly so the session aims to be relaxed and fun and to keep your baby (and parents) happy and engaged for the whole shoot!
