Maternity sessions should be booked as soon as you’ve had your 20-week scan, so we’ll have enough time to get to know one another and discuss the best time for your session.

What is the best time in my pregnancy for my maternity photoshoot?

The ideal time for a maternity photoshoot is between 28 and 36 weeks, where you can show off your radiant bump! However, this may change depending on your circumstances. If for example you are expecting twins you may want to consider coming for a session around the 30th week. Usually multiple pregnancy tends to be a bit bigger or it may be at risk of early delivery, so you don’t want to miss your session. The same goes for high risk pregnancies.

Are outfits available at the studio for maternity photography session?

If you are opting for a single semi-nude maternity photoshoot, there is a small wardrobe of drapes or gowns available that you’re welcome to use during your session. These are washed/sanitised after each shoot to keep you Covid safe.

Can I bring family members to my maternity session?

Absolutely—partners and children are welcome to join, however no more than 3 people (2 parents + 1 kids max) can attend due to the nature of the space.

Although the best time frame for a maternity session is between 28 to 36 weeks, each pregnancy is different. So my advice is to get in touch at your 20 week scan to book a possible slot in which you can still move comfortably and enjoy your maternity session.
